Apple patent shows expansion GPS functionality to iPhone
A patent application shows that Apple plans to have the GPS functionality of the iPhone going to expand. Users of an iPhone can soon with each one-touch passing where they are.
It is already possible to exchange location data between two iPhones. So you can say to a fellow iPhone users where you are by your locatiegegenevs to find and then via email or MMS to send to another. The recipient can then view the Maps application where you are and use the built-in navigation to your search. A new Apple patent indicates that a new version of the iPhone operating system will get this expansion possible. Apple’s new technique allows two iPhone users to call in a location to exchange information. During the call can be pressed a button which sends the request to the other for his or her location to give up. The recipient gets an SMS message and may authorize the information to be transmitted. The location information appears immediately back to the other on the screen.
