Motorola lays patent on 3D-look-through window

Motorola has already in 2008 a patent pending on a phone with a see-through display screen of the device that makes 3D, which is now published. This window should be made through a door on the screen should be placed.

Recently a patent from Motorola announcing the company for a film on the screen of its phones proposes. This transparent layer, the screen should have 3D capabilities, so you can switch between a 3D and a 2D screen. The layer is called a “parallax barrier” that the different pixels for your right or left eye for sorting. If you layer over it flips the screen into a reconstructed 3D representation with different lines for right and left images are displayed.
Motorola’s patent since 2008 and is one of the factors affecting the realization of the concept in the way that the placement of the layer over the pixels really is. In a phone will soon hit little leeway for making the 3D image would not work. Motorola has also slide form factor in the patent mentioned, but there is problem there. In addition, the viewing angle with this technique, who has already to some TV’s is very small. That is of course difficult with one phone, which is another factor complicates the drawing.
