Nokia C5 will officially put the phone back to smartphone
The CSeries Nokia has passed official – As expected, the first member of the line is the Nokia C5. The new combined efforts of simplicity, stick to Symbian S60 3rd Edition and it’s all about keeping contact with friends and family by all modern means of communication.
The design of the C5 Nokia is the quintessence of simplicity – Form Factor graph and standard phone keypad with big comfy key research. The screen is 2.2 “with QVGA resolution. The C5 Nokia seeks people who still prefer a regular phone, not touch.

The phone maintains a slender 12.3mm and weighs only 89 grams, although there are a lot of steel used for its body. The battery of 1050 mAh Nokia C5 is good for 26 days on standby and 12 hours of talk time.
The CSeries Nokia insists on ease of communication, so also the time to be tough, there’s a camera for video call. Messaging Nokia manages the IM side of things with Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger support.
The phonebook of Nokia C5 has also been updated and now displays the latest Facebook too.
Other notable features of the C5 include Nokia Camera 3.2MP autofocus, 3.5 mm jack audio and stereo speakers, microSD card 2GB in the box (cards up to 16GB are supported) and stereo FM radio.
There is a built-in GPS receiver with support A-GPS and Ovi Maps 3.0 with free walk and car navigation. The only notable omission is Wi-Fi connectivity See the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic – GPS has specs similar trades, but for Wi-Fi. It is all rubber, however, there is no metal on board.

The Nokia C5 will be available in the second quarter in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and the MEA. The expected price before taxes and subsidies of 135 euros. Expect more mobile CSeries too, but Nokia is mum on the details on upcoming devices.
Also today Nokia officially explained their new naming convention – one letter and one number. The letter indicates the type of phone – phone business, lighthouse, entertainment focused phone, etc. – and the figure is an approximate number of features / price range of the phone. It should be very easy for consumers to guess what they can expect from a phone, right from its model number.
