Nokia 7230 with AT&T 3G gets FCC approval

Nokia 7230, the Finnish company’s recently announced stylish low-end 3G slider, has been caught on its way to conquering the U.S. market. The version of the device that FCC got to play with comes with 3G radio that sings on AT&T (NYSE: T)’s and Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless’ bands – 850/1900 MHz.
However, that doesn’t mean AT&T or Rogers will include it in their offering. It just means Nokia
(NYSE: NOK) did its homework and now it’s all about negotiations.
As a reminder, the 7230 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth
, 3.5mm headset jack, Nokia Maps, stereo FM radio, microSD card slot, and so on
